Dinners

I like playing the newlywed game. I get to plan meals, grocery shop, buy milk (a lot of milk!!) and try to use up ingredients before they go bad. I'm loving it. I've always loved to cook but it seemed pointless to go to all that work as a single girl but now I have a man to feed. And he eats, everyday. And drinks a lot of milk.
So I took some pics of recent dinners we really enjoyed. One is whole wheat waffles (thanks again for the waffle maker Ortons!!) with apple cider syrup (real good) and homemade whipped cream, which Bryan loves to make in the KitchenAid.
The other is spinach and potato breakfast hash with fried eggs on top. We love it and Bryan says its one of his favorite meals. The recpie is from Joy the Baker.
I love sitting down at our little table in our little apartment and eating together. Someone gave us a candle holder and candlesticks for our wedding and we've made it a tradition to eat by candlelight every night. How's that for romantic.

We also ran out of clean plates so we ate just ate it off the platter...oops.
