Remember when we painted a rug?

Well turns out this was a total Pinterest fail. We didn't put enough fabric medium in it and it turned out really stiff. Also, we started to run out of paint so we added a little water to the paint. Not a great idea unless you want that ombre look which we didn't.
So we bought a new rug! Isn't is pretty! We got it from the Overstock outlet in Sandy, UT. It was a GREAT deal.

Howdy

Remember the OCMCO? They were invited to Dallas for a convention of some kind, probably having to do with music or singing etc. I'm not really sure. The important thing is that Ben and Janae were going to Dallas. And since Ben and Janae were going to Dallas, Mom and Dad had to go to Dallas. So of course I had to buy a ticket to Dallas. No way were all these people going to Dallas without me. Unfortunately Bryan had school and could NOT go to Dallas. So minus my Bryan and the Cory/Steph's it was the whole fam in DALLAS Y'ALL!
We went to the concert, of course and they blew my mind AGAIN.

We took a "girl" photo + mom's white legs.
MCO announced they were going to start a "Dallas" chapter so Alison can toot her flute in the organization too!

We went to mall to ride these little cars...

We listened to Ben play at the JFK memorial.

We watched Elena eat ribs...(!!!)

But surprisingly Ben ate more than Elena...

Not sure what these are but they're a big deal down in Texas.

Patrick wanted to be a longhorn too.
Alison showing us what Diana Ross would look like as a redhead.

Dad bought Patrick a real live steam engine and they built it together. It whistled.

It was all so  much fun. I missed Bryan so much and next time he's definitely coming with me.

And Then...The Reception!

I can't believe this was 6 months ago! I will never get tired of looking at these pictures but you guys probably are...

I honestly don't remember very much from this day it went by so fast but here's what I do remember:

-my friends, sisters, and parents getting up early and helping me fill jars with sand and candles and tying ribbon and drinking hot chocolate
-worrying I wouldn't have enough time to shave my legs for my wedding (don't worry, I did)
-forgetting to bring my wedding dress to the Temple
-seeing so many familiar faces as Bryan and I walked into the sealing room, all smiling.
-being with my mom inside the Temple
-being so happy as I stared at Bryan that my mouth hurt from smiling
-going through the drive-thru at Carl's Jr. and telling the girl at the window we just got married
-how perfect and beautiful Silver Fork Lodge was
-watching my brother and his lovely pregnant wife sing the sweetest song
-seeing good friends at our reception that we haven't seen in a while
-my feet huuuuuurrrrrrrrrtttttt from standing in heels all day
-running to the limo in our hot pink and yellow vans :)
-being so happy to be married to my Bryan. that is the best memory of all.
